Overseas Security & Strategic Information, Inc. (OSSI) is a USA registered company with offices in Iraq, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, and the United States. OSSI, a Veteran Owned business, was founded in 2000 by John H. Walbridge, Jr. who is a retired career CIA special operations officer and who served with the 5th US Army Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Vietnam. Mr. Walbridge participated in management and paramilitary operations throughout the world, and since retirement, has provided a range of security and intelligence services to major US corporations overseas.

OSSI's senior political and security consultant is Phillip H. Ringdahl, a retired senior CIA officer. Mr. Ringdahl has extensive overseas experience in Africa, the Middle East and Europe, including five Chief of Station assignments; managed the second largest CIA Operational Division; served as Senior Director for Africa at the National Security Council (NSC); and provided overseas assistance and advice to US and foreign corporations.

Our cadre of US personnel has served with the US Military (officers and NCOs from Special Forces, Delta Force and SEALS) and Federal and state law enforcement agencies who have extensive overseas experience. Most of our security operators and trainers are former South African military and police personnel who have operated worldwide, particularly in African countries, and who have extensive training and relevant experience.
