OSSI supports aid and reconstruction projects in Haiti, in particular, in and around Port-au-Prince. We provide site security, convoy escorts and logistics, infrastructure and facilities protection, personal close protection, armored vehicle transportation, and training services. In additional, we also provide intelligence reports and country-entry support, for clients looking to begin operations in the country.
OSSI understands the complicated and, at times, desperate situation facing many people in the region who have been devastated by the earthquake. As such, our security efforts are sensitive to the conditions in Haiti and attempt mirror the positive mission of our clients. However, with the rise in violence and crime since the earthquake, we are acutely aware of the potential risks in the country. With a roughly 95% Haitian security force, we are focused on utilizing local resources and providing training to build capacity within the Haitian economy.
