OSSI entered Iraq in 2003 as an initial 5-man security team and expanded its presence to as many as 275 international and 755 Iraqi security personnel. We have a cadre of experienced professionals to effectively secure and protect people, equipment, and physical assets. We developed security programs and trainers who have trained both mobile and static Iraqi security personnel. OSSI’s experience gives us an advantage, with our personnel tracking hundreds of thousands of mission hours in the most austere environments.
OSSI believes that the long-term success of the country is tied to the Iraqi people. As such, we developed a close relationship with one of our most trusted Iraqi personnel to the point where we supported his efforts to establish his own security company, Future Path Security. This relationship has continued to mature as OSSI and Future Path work hand-in-hand to provide security services that work well within the ever-changing and unique Iraqi environment. OSSI provides technical expertise and mentoring for operation and sound business practices, and Future Path provides an ongoing and current understanding of the threats throughout Iraq and contributes to the development of local employment and socioeconomic development.
